The death has been announced of Brian Lodge. Brian was a member of the very first meeting of Bournheath Parish Council on 13th May 1993 and has continuously served the community as a parish councillor for the last twenty-three years. Brian’s wealth of experience and good humour will be missed by all.
John Duddington, the chairman of the Worcestershire accreditation panel for the Local Council Award Scheme, attended the Bournheath Parish Annual meeting on Wednesday 25th May where he presented the Quality certificate to the council’s Chairman, Cllr Karen May. At the parish council meeting held on 26th April members unanimously agreed to co-opt Bournheath resident Jayne Warwood to fill the vacancy created when John Cross resigned earlier in the year. The Parish Council is grateful to John for his contributions since May 2015 and welcomes Jayne to the authority.
